Sponsored by the Mellon Foundation, the Deaf Studies Incubator at Gallaudet University is dedicated to fostering innovation, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration in the field of intersectional Deaf Studies. Our mission is to support and nurture pioneering scholars and projects that advance the understanding, appreciation, and empowerment of Deaf communities.
What We Do
The Deaf Studies Incubator:
- Supports innovative research and projects that contribute to Deaf Studies.
- Provides a collaborative space for Incubator Fellows as well as scholars, students, and community members.
- Promotes the dissemination of knowledge through various media and platforms.
- Fosters interdisciplinary and intersectional approaches to Deaf Studies.
